I am a stay-at-home mom with two wild a crazy boys who give me lots to "scrap" about! I recently discovered scrapbooking and all its glory and have since booted my youngest into his brothers room and devoted an entire room in my house to the craft. You may think "how horrible she kicked him out of his room!" but don't shed a tear he never once in his 2 years of life slept in "his room" and as an added bonus we bought them bunk beds to sweeten the deal. I have always loved to write so starting a blog seemed a very natural thing to do however it wasn't until I tried to start participating in scrapbooking challenges on several scrapbooking blogs that I follow did I realize that I was the only one in the world that didn't have one :/
So I decided that seeing as though the only real adult communication I get on a daily basis is on the various scrapbooking sites I visit why not have a blog to just talk? I mean really just putting it out there makes you feel better so who cares if anyone listens...though I really hope you do, and join in to because lets face it...we may be on completely different spectrum of the social, religious, world spectrum but a mother is a mother nevertheless and scrapbooking is addictive!
As a stay at home mom and scrapbooking addict of two wild little boys, I am constantly trying to find new things to hold their attention and expand their horizons. My boys and I always seem to be having a great time no matter if we are just sitting in the living room doing crafts or on a backyard adventure, and I always make sure to captures the moment on camera. Between daily chores and keeping up with the boys, I often find it difficult to sit down, pick out pictures, plan a layout, and then create it. That is when I decided to dedicate an hour or two a day for me to scrapbook all the fun memories I have just sitting around. And so Naptime Equals Scraptime was born.
