Happy Birthday Edward!

It is hard to believe that my baby is turning 3 today. I know it seems so Cliché to say it seems like just yesterday I was bringing home my newborn but it really does! He has always been my "Little Bruiser" and that I know will never change. To watch him grow from a quiet shy little boy to the wild and rambunctious kid he is just makes me so proud!

It's Offical...I'm {SAS}sy BABY!!!

I am BEYOND thrilled to announce that I have made the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking Design team! This is my very first design team that I have ever been on and can't be more happy! By now you all should know how much I love the site so I hope that my love spreads and you will all join me on the {SAS}sy site for fun Challenges, Inspiration and great chats!

Here is part of the post Straight from Lauri!

And now for the news you have all been waiting for.

I struggled with only picking 4 design team members…so in addition to the full time design team, I also picked 3 guest designers!

nls10271
Adrienne
Datatar
JJ

And guest desiging for us during this 6 month dt term:

Emarie803
Krystle
dbscraps

I decided to bring back both Dana and Nadine for another term. They both are extremely wonderful designers and also such a big part of the site – I felt like it just wouldn’t be the same without them for 6 months. I am excited to see how they progress in the next 6 months.

Adrienne has been very instrumental to the site since the moment she joined. She is a wonderful designer and is always willing to get to know you on a personal level. I have never worked with Adrienne but I look forward to working with her as she expands her scrapbooking skills.

And JJ. Last term, she was kind enough to jump in at the last minute and design. But although she joined us for a while, I felt she deserved to design for us for a complete term this time. JJ is one of the most creative people know – and not just scrapbooking wise, she is talented in whatever craft she does.

I was very impressed with all the applications but wanted to see a little more from the following designers. So please join me in welcoming Em, Krystle and Debbie to our team as guest designers over the next 6 months.

Congrats to everyone, I am looking forward to working with you in the upcoming months. And thank you again to EVERYONE that submitted applications. It warms my heart to see so many wonderful scrapbookers who have an interest in joining our team.

{SAS}sy Pink Crop Layouts!

Scrap Attack Scrapbooking held yet another awesome crop, this time to support Breast Cancer Awareness and Research! There were a lot of fun games and challenges to spark your creative juices! I completed every challenge and finished with 7 awesome layouts! Here are the final 6 layouts (first one already posted here)

Here are my layouts in no particular order!
"First Meeting"
This layout was to celebrate a woman from our life. My boys never got to meet my grandparents, on either side. I chose this opportunity to "highlight" my Mamaw, as she was not just a member of our family, she was the family. She was the glue that held us together, she was the reason we were a family. After she left us, the family dinners stopped as did the holidays. It just has never been the same with out her. I miss her so much ...

"Daydreamer"
This layout we had to use Pink to spell out product used. P-Pearls, I-Ink, N-Navy, K-Knight

"Lovely"
This one was simple enough, monochromatic Pink...simple? Hardly I was stumped! Still am but I think simple as it is it is done..for now at least :)

"I hope you never lose"
This we had to use Hope, Survive, Pink, Cure, Fight in the title.

"Grandma's Boys"
All we had to do was use a pink ribbon, anyhow anyway.

"Love101"
This was a sketch challenge!

Well, I hope you enjoyed them!
