A few refreshing changes from {SAS}!

Lauri :"Well you may have noticed a few changes around the site...it has been a very hard decision for me, I have been contemplating it for over 6 months and after evaluating the participation of the message board I have decided to close the message board/forum. After nearly 4 years of offering the message board/forum the following and participation never really took off like expected, which is unfortunate.

It’s not goodbye though...the site, online store, Facebook, etc will remain...nothing is changing there. We will continue to do challenges, give tips and techniques, etc right here on our blog/Facebook. So if you aren’t currently following our blog please make sure and add it to your Google Reader or signup for daily emails when new posts are made via the “FeedBurner” application on the blog (on the bottom right column, just above the “archives” section – it reads {SAS}sy Updates.)

Here is a quick recap of what to expect going forward:

Every Monday: Must have Mondays where we’ll showcase ‘must have’ items and close-ups of these cool products. If you are like me, sometimes seeing them in use is all it takes to make it a “must have” item.

Every other Wednesday: Workshop Wednesdays where we’ll show you tips, techniques or tutorials to help you grow as scrapbookers.

Every Friday: CHALLENGES! We’ll debut a new challenge every Friday and you will have 1 week to get it completed and upload to the blog. Deadline for entry is every Friday at midnight PST (3 am EST.) On Saturday’s we will pull a random winner who will earn a coupon for an extra 10% off your total order in the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking store. (With our 10% off everyday prices, this coupon gives your total order 20% off MSRP!) By pulling a weekly winner we can offer 4-5 chances to win each month instead of just 1 winner.

Change is good and I believe things happen for a reason! By making these changes I think we can make it enjoyable for everyone and really get to the heart of why we scrapbook…to preserve the memories and stories of our lives. As this is new we will always leave the door open to add fun things like contests, guest design team opportunities, etc. Joining us on this journey are 2 of our recent Design Team members,Dana Tatar and Adrienne Pierce, who have agreed to join us as we embark on these new changes! I am thrilled to be working with them again and can't wait to see how they can inspire us all.

I am completly honored to have been asked to remain on the desing team with Dana Tatar! {SAS}sy has been like a second home to me and I hope to continue to inspire all the lovely ladies I have come to know as well as make new {SAS}sy friends!
